Romania has many favourable areas for cultivating vegetables in open fields and under protective shelters. From the latter point of view, protected crops rely on greenhouses covered with glass usually equipped with heating devices and on plastic houses. In the following, some aspects concerning the vegetable industry targeted towards production under protective shelters covered with platic films are presented. | |
