Nowadays the entire vegetable production system has received attention and changes because the necessity to improve yield and vegetable quality.
One of most important changes is seedling production.
In the past, all seedlings used for transplanting were by produced growers.
At present transplant vegetable production is done by specialized companies.
The method provides uniform growth.
The harvest is more concentrated.
Moreover, the seed cost is very important in a decision of transplanting.
Since the hybrid seeds are very expensive, this method reduces seed waste.
To use transplant as culture introduction method depends on seedling quality and type.
As a producer says: “A good seedling is 50% of the production”.
