PEACH POPULATIONS IN SOUTHERN SPAIN

Abstract:
The presence of peach in Southern Spain responds to a long tradition as well as to historic and economic reasons. The characteristics of these populations are associated with each introduction event, the first ones were made by the Romans through Greece during the first Century, followed by later introductions made by the Arabs during the VIII Century.
