Abstract:
In our country, besides dry fig, consumption of the table fig is getting increased every day.
In this research, pomological and technical characteristics of the “Bursa Siyahı” fig cultivar were tried to be determined.
For this purpose, shape characteristics, shape index, weights, volumes and skin firmness of the fruits are measured in all harvesting periods.
At the same fruit the solving of dry matter contents and moisture ratios were measured.
On every fruit darkest and lightest surface areas were measured by using chromameter.
While performing this measurement, Hunter and Lab methods were used.
In addition to this, rolling resistances coefficient of fruit were calculated for seven different surfaces and four different axes.
