Abstract:
This work reports the results of a study on fig fruits of "Petrelli" cultivar.
The field trial was located in Apulia, in Southern Italy.
The aim of this study was to determine the influence of exposure on fruit growth and development.
The determined characteristics of fruits were carried out from early of April to the end of June, every about ten days, and in the north, south, east and west, on five plants.
Fruit dimension (length and width) was observed in each harvest time and each expositure.
Significant differences among the harvest time and expositure were observed in the both determined characteristics.
