Abstract:
Variability of powdery mildew resistance were studied in two hybrid families, in Muscadinia x V. vinifera BC4 x Franco-American hybrid xV. vinifera x V. amurensis and in Muscadinia x V. vinifera BC4 x (V. amurensis x V. vinifera) BC2 combinations.
Seedlings were grown in glasshouse and were infected artificially.
Our results confirm opinion, that Run 1 gene from Muscadinia, which is responsible for total powdery mildew resistance, is in connection with downy mildew resistance.
We received seedlings from the hybrid families, which have higher downy mildew resistance, than of parents.
