Abstract:
Ampelographic, morphological and physiological characteristics, further more five isozyme systems from woody tissue, Randomly Amplified Polymorphic DNA (RAPD) markers and microsatellite technique were used to describe two old Hungarian cultivars of wine grapes (Vitis vinifera) and their hybrids with Red Traminer.
Catechol oxidase was found to have specific banding patterns for Ezerjó and/or White of Pressburg.
Some 10-mer random primers produced bands, that were very defined.
All of the three microsatellite markers were polymorphic and revealed from 1 to 3 alleles per locus.
