The main breeding objectives, germplasm currently used in hybridization, and achievements in obtaining new pear cultivars at the Fruit Research Station Voinesti, Romania, are presented. The main traits in trees and fruits of ‘Euras’, a new cultivar, as well as other promising selections are discussed. | |
