| Abstract:
The effect of various concentrations of auxin and different basal culture media on the rooting of pistachio micro-shoots were investigated. The results showed that micro-shoots cultured on half strength DKW medium supplemented with 2 mg/l IBA plus 0.01 mg/l NAA gave 100% rooting and was the best treatment. Rooted-shoots were readily established in peat: perlite (1:1) mixture and plantlets were acclimatized to the natural environment successfully. | |
