| Abstract:
The results of the performance of B-5-7 almond grafted on new almond x peach hybrid rootstocks coming from the rootstock breeding programme of the SIA-DGA are described. The comparative trials are being carried out in replanted soils that were formerly planted with peaches grafted on 'Nemaguard'. The performance of these new rootstocks is generally better than the control 'GF 677'. In these conditions it seems advisable to use them until the reason for their behaviour is better understood. | |
