| Abstract:
Two new blackcurrant cultivars, ‘Tiben’ and ‘Tisel’, have recently been released from the Ribes breeding programme at the Fruit Breeding Department of the Research Institute of Pomology and Floriculture, Skierniewice, Poland. Results from the preliminary variety trail conducted in 1994-1996 at the Experimental Orchard at Dabrowice, near Skierniewice (Central Poland) as well as the main chemical analyses of fruits are presented in this paper. A short description of both new cultivars is also given. | |
