EVALUATION OF RED RASPBERRY CULTIVARS IN NORWAY |

| Abstract:
A trial was carried out in Western Norway, in which twenty red raspberry cultivars and selections were tested for vegetative and generative characters, including fruit quality and suitability for fresh fruit marketing. Based on the results from three harvesting seasons, five cultivars have been recommended for fresh fruit marketing in Norway: ‘Glen Ample’, ‘Glen Moy’, ‘Hitra’, ‘Stiora’, and ‘Tambar’. The three last cultivars are new varieties from Norway. | |
