During winter-spring period cucumbers occupy 75% of the area, tomatoes — 20%, cabbage lettuce, radish, leaf cabbage — 5%. During automn period tomatoes occupy 70%, cucumbers — 15%, green vegetables — 15% of glass-house area.
Great attention is payed to get a qualitative tomato and cucumber seedlings.
The seedlings are grown in the propagation house in pots of peat which was chalked and enriched with macro- and microelements.
The cucumber seedlings were prepared for winter-spring crop during 30–35 days, for tomatoes — 50–55 days with lighting by lamps DRLF-400. Specific power of lamps is 120 W per m2. The seedlings are moved apart in two weeks from the moment when cucumber shoots appear and in 3 weeks after tomato potting, 25–30 plants per 1 m2.
During the automn period of growing cucumber and tomato seedlings are also prepared in the propagation house: cucumbers — 20–25 days, tomatoes — 30–35 days.
