Abstract:
Two Cucumber mosaic virus (CMV) bean isolates (VE-185 and B-42) were compared with a new cucumovirus isolate, found on beans in Bulgaria, in terms of their aggressiveness on several introduced and domestic bean accessions.
The isolates were compared on the basis of mathematical analysis according to the rate of depression expressed by the reduction of plant height, mass and number of leaves.
The aggressiveness of the isolates was assessed by evaluation of the statistically significant differences between the mean values of the basic biometrical parameters for each accession.
