We update and supplement the summary by Goulart et al. for the Fifth International Symposium on Vaccinium Culture of contributions to research on ericoid mycorrhiza. We address mycobiont and host taxonomy and derivation of the mutualism, variation with habitat, intranuclear morphology, response to pH, N and P delivery, Ca and Fe dynamics, inhibitory effects, and improving field mycorrhization. | |
