| Abstract:
This paper reports recent results regarding Maytenus species and its distribution over various geographical regions of Rio Grande do Sul. The procedure adopted takes into account the number of exsiccates, date and place of the collection, name and number of the collector, phenology, and other remarks as well as visits in locus. Besides the six Maytenus species mentioned by Carvalho-Okano (1992), three other new species have been found: M. glaucescens Reiss., M. gonoclada Mart. and M. robusta Reiss. | |
