Abstract:
The thermal balance involved in the climate control of greenhouses includes different kinds of sources and, as a consequence, numerous thermal coefficients appear in the energy balance equation with temperature and time variables.
The resulting ordinary differential equation is non-linear and requires approximating numerical methods for its solution.
In this work we present a numerical solution of the whole equation studying the influence of some of the most important parameters.
The numerical technique employed is the Network Simulation Method, whose efficacy has been proved in numerous linear and non-linear problems defined by a mathematical model.
The solution, which may be easily adapted to complicated wave forms for the different heat flux rates that participate in the problem, is obtained by solving the network model in an appropriate circuit resolution software.
