| Abstract:
Both closed girdling and spiral girdling increased flowering and yield of ‘Nuomici’ litchi trees as compared with the control trees. Theses increases in production were associated with increases in soluble sugars and starch content. Closed girdling was easily operated and safe in practices, and was therefore recommended. | |
