| Abstract:
Fresh longan fruit are now available in local markets in Thailand almost all year round. This is possible because off-season longan is now possible in Thailand. Out-of-season flowering cultivars and the application of chemicals to induce flowering are utilized by growers in various provinces. The methodology for off-season production of longan in Thailand and the possible physiological responses are discussed. | |
