| Abstract:
Hazelnut breeding and research in the steppe region of Ukraine, where cold weather is a limiting factor, was begun in 1937. Twelve cultivars from this program are now included in the Ukrainian State Official List of Plant Cultivars. In recent years, the research emphasis has shifted to cultural practices and propagation methods. This report is a summary of the hazelnut research conducted at our institute. | |
