| Abstract:
The action of environmental factors that are outside the optimum ranges leads to the deterioration of physiological processes during the pre- and postharvest periods, which, in its turn, leads to the incidence of physiological disorders (Bondoux, 1992, Burzo, 1999). Nevertheless, are only a few research reports have addressed the ultra-structural changes which take place in the affected tissues, and these refer to only a small number of species. | |
