| Abstract:
During the Workshop detailed information was provided on: the present situation in Lithuania, US, Canada and Jordan where PPV has been recently found; on development of contingency plan for future incursion of PPV in Australia, on organization of the Ringtest of Middle and Eastern European PPV isolates, based on biological, serological and molecular characterization, being under organization Hungary; on the results of serotyping made by Italy quite recently, of PPV isolates from 20 countries where the majority of isolates were determined as PPV M. Experiences with the Questionnaire on Current situation of PPV in Middle and Eastern European Countries were also introduced. | |
