| Abstract:
Two DNA profiling methods have been used for variety discrimination in potatoes. Sequence tagged site analysis of microsatellites was shown to be very efficient and was more reliable than inter-SSR PCR analysis. Using only 3 microsatellite primer pairs, it was possible to distinguish between 50 potato varieties. | |
