| Abstract:
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistical Service (USDA/NASS) annually releases the results of a survey of the top 36 production states. The Floriculture Crops: 1998 Summary was released in June 1999. Total production for the 36 major production states was reported at $3.934 billion fo the 1998 farm gate wholesale value. For growers with at least $100.000 in sales, the production value was $3.561 billion. | |
