Abstract:
The results of application of biotechnological methods for acquisition and propagation of new cultivars and hybrids of some subtropical fruit plants have been presented. The 4 ways of micropropagation in vitro such as: activation of meristems existing in plant; somatic embryogenesis; organogenesis; and embryoculture in zizyphus (Zizyphus jujuba Mill.) cvs. Ya-dzao, Kitaiskii 2A, Ta-yang-dzao, persimmon (Diospyros kaki L.) cv. Rossianka, asimina (Asimina triloba Dun.), kiwi (Actinidia deliciosa (Chev.) Liang, Ferguson) cvs. Bruno, Monti, Tomuri and hybrids Monti x Tomuri, Bruno x Tomuri, Abbot x Tomuri and Abbot x (Bruno x Tomuri) were developed. The possibilities of both direct, and indirect regeneration of shoots in persimmon, kiwi, asimina and zizyphus on culture mediums with various concentration of TDZ have been investigated.
