Abstract:
The KCISA program was developed to compute time-averaged crop coefficients using the new FAO methodology.
This program is primely oriented to support the users of the ISAREG simulation model to create appropriate crop data inputs to this model.
The program uses meteorological, crop, irrigation, and soil data to describe environmental crop growth and field conditions, in order to compute the initial crop coefficient (Kc ini), and to adjust to climate the mid season and end season crop coefficients (Kc mid and Kc end) and the soil water depletion fraction for non stress (p). Results of the application of the KCISA program to tomato and potato crops in two Mediterranean countries are presented.
