Abstract:
The varieties Flying Dragon, Davis A, Kryder, the citranges Carrizo and Rusk, and the citrandarins Cleopatra x Rubidoux and Sunki x English Large were examined for the presence of random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) markers in the linkage group where the citrus tristeza virus resistance gene was mapped in Poncirus trifoliata. The closest markers gave the best results, as the presence of the bands was in agreement with the resistant phenotypes.
