Abstract:
This paper describes how a growing population of flowers in greenhouse may be distributed among age classes or flower stages, and defines conditions necessary to simulate real population development.
A model describing the changes in flower numbers during growth is presented.
The model predicts that during flower reproduction with random parameters for transition to a new generation, any flower population approaches a real behavior if it has sinusoidal external force (e.g. seasonal behavior). According to this model, flower growth simulation is possible if there is a suitable factor multiplication for flower reproduction.
This point is illustrated by a set of graphs showing snapshots of model simulations with different parameter sets for transitions.
