Abstract:
Three years results of spraying a rain-fed tomato crop with fungicides at nine sites in the northern states of Nigeria are evaluated.
Three fungicides, mancozeb, captafol and cuprous oxide were used at high volume rates (1,121 1/ha) and applied at 7 and 14 days intervals.
The practical problems associated with high volume rates of fungicide application are discussed.
