Abstract:
L'Acadie is a mid-season grape that produces high quality, white table wine with a good varietal, but no labrusca character.
L'Acadie is distinguished by its winter hardiness (-31°C) and consistent productivity under short growing season (138 FFD) and low heat unit conditions (964 HU>10°C) of the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia, Canada.
It is superior to Seyval, the local standard, under these growing conditions.
