Abstract:
With the aim to obtain a protection against viruses causing fanleaf degenerescence (“court-noué”), the rootstock variety 110 Richter was transformed with various viral genes derived from the grapevine fanleaf virus (GFLV, virulent strain F13). Results presented here deal with the molecular characterization of transformants and preliminary results about their protection upon challenge with the GFLV inoculated by grafting vitroplantlets.
