| Abstract:
A survey on the principal works published the last few years about methodologies of genetic resources management and conservation concerning the grapevine is presented. It is so possible to point out several directions for research, like optimization of sample strategies, safe and long-term methods of conservation, resources evaluation, diversity analysis, core collection, elaboration and use of databases. To optimize the means, agreement of a charter for genetic resources and development of collaborations and networks seem to be necessary and helpful. | |
