Abstract:
Capillary electrophoresis fluorescence-based technology and fragment sizing software were applied in order to type grape cultivars at microsatellite loci described by Thomas and Scott (1993) and Bowers et al. (1996). The pedigree of the cultivars “Incroci Rigotti” obtained by crossing at our Institute were investigated.
In some cases, genotypes at microsatellite loci were found inconsistent when compared with the parental alleles but varieties were suggested which perfectly matched at same loci.
In order to further characterise the red varieties, the pattern of anthocyanins of the cultivar “Incroci Rigotti” and of the related varieties were also described.
