1.3 At the same time, conventional breeding has to be continued for selecting more durable resistance – from genetic resources, to screen for polygenic resistance apple scab and mildew several peach diseases frost resistance

2.2 The resistant materials already available are tested and evaluated for IFP Ex. of apple

• reduction of fungicides 70 – 80 %
• reduction of acaricides
• but negative incidences on brown rot, fly speck, sooty blotch, storage diseases
