Abstract:
The most interesting topics considered are:
1.1 Plant breeding: to get nematode resistant rootstocks of Prunus in Spain and to select frost resistant cultivars of apricot in Turkey.
1.2 Pheromones: Mating Disruption Method applications in Australia and New Zealand against the Oriental Fruit Moth point out the interest in this method that also in Europe is considered of great importance for peach protection against this pest.
1.3 Biological techniques: the use of Mycorrhizal fungi to improve blueberry production and the use of predatory mites to control the two spotted spider mite (Tetranychus urticae) on black currant.
