Abstract:
Our exhaustive investigations have recently been directed towards collection of a great number of ecologic types of vegetable cultures, among which spinach (S. Oleracea L.)
Apart from the morphological, biological, chemical and productive characteristics (which have been subject of special investigations), it was also our purpose to determine to a certain degree the duration of life of the consumable rosette of the spinach, and we compared the different forms in relation to their origin.
For the contemporary rapid development of the mechanized technology of the agricultural production, to know the duration of life of the leaf rosette of the spinach is of essential importance.
