Abstract:
Flowering in Pelargonium x domesticum Bail. was found to be inhibited by high temperature.
Critical temperature for flower bud formations varies within cultivars.
It was also found that it varies with time of the year and thus with light intensity.
Shortening of the cultural period may be achieved by subjecting the cuttings to low temperature during propagation.
