| Abstract:
To characterise 24 crabapple clones, isozyme pattern differences were investigated. Polyacrylamide or starch electrophoresis of leaf extracts provided adequate resolution for the isozyme systems acid phosphatase, catechol oxydase, diaphorase, endopeptidase, esterase, leucine aminopeptidase, phosphoglucoisomerase and superoxide dismutase. Using those systems, 22 clones could be distinguished by specific patterns or combinations of patterns. | |
