Abstract:
The easy N-functionalization of dihydrocarvone was achieved through the preparation of its imine derivatives.
Mixtures of amines and their respective diastereoisomeric amides were analyzed by chromatographic methods.
Total energy and heat of formation for diastereoisomeric amines were calculated using AM1 and PM3 methods.
New N,N-disubstituted amides of biological interest were prepared in a three-step manner from dihydrocarvone.
