| Abstract:
In Slovenia sweet chestnut grows on approximately one quarter of the forest area of the country, which has been divided in three main regions. All three regions were selected for the present study and morphological analysis was carried out during a period of three years. The analysis showed differences among the trees within a single region and also between regions. | |
