| Abstract:
The investigation was done at the Apricot Research Station - Silistra. A great number of apricot rootstocks within the framework of special experiments were tested in a period of 30 years. The research included seedling and vegetative rootstocks of the species Armeniaca vulgaris, Prunus cerasifera, Prunus domestica, Prunus insititia and others. As a result of the investigations we carried out, growth and reproductive characteristics of the grafted cultivars, craft accretion and vitality response of apricot trees were found. The examined rootstocks were divided in groups according to the growth they induced to the grafted varieties. | |
