| Abstract:
In this study we have developed a technique to introduce and establish plant material in vitro through “meristem tips” culture. Different growth regulators at different concentrations were tried to promote the development of the meristems to shoots that can be micropropagated. Optimum season to introduce the meristems was investigated in relation to bud dormancy. Different basal salt media were used during the proliferation stage as well as different growth regulators to optimise the proliferation rate. | |
