Abstract:
A new apricot assortment, constituted by 11 varieties was studied in the Banat (Romania) conditions.
The new assortment had a late blossoming, better quality of fruits and a prolonged maturation period of fruits at 40–45 days.
The best varieties were N.J.A. 19, C.R. 24–17, Selena, Sulmona, Litoral and Umberto, the last for the late start of the blossoming period.
