| Abstract:
During the last ten years, processing tomato crops in the south of Italy have been affected by severe viral diseases (CMV and TSWV). This work aimed to verify the effectiveness of a protective covering tissue, called "agri-fabric tissue", to preserve tomato plants from vectors (particularly from aphids and thrips) and, therefore, from viral diseases. Different covering times and rates were investigated. This kind of protection showed some interesting indirect effects. | |
