Abstract:
The Cuban flora is very rich in palms; they are distributed all over its territories and constitute a typical and important element in rural landscapes and wild vegetation.
Nevertheless they are rarely used as garden plants in the green areas of Cuban cities.
We are taking in account their distribution ands conservation status.
