| Abstract:
Seedlings of strawberry progenies from controlled crosses were screened for resistance to Phytophthora fragariae with isolates from Germany, Scotland and Switzerland. Resistance to Phytophthora fragariae was inherited with high percentages of resistant seedlings in progenies of the parents ‘Surecrop’ and ‘Lateglow’. In progenies with the parents ‘Senga Sengana’, ‘Siletz’, ‘Red Gauntlet’, ‘Delite’ and ‘Honeoye’ the percentages of resistant seedlings were low. | |
