| Abstract:
After fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH) with a biotinylated probe specific for 18S/25S rDNA - specific probe hybridization signals were detected at terminal positions of the short arms of two submetacentric and two metacentric chromosome pairs of Malus pumila ‘Pinova’. For the 5S rRNA genes only one locus was found on the short arm of a small metacentric chromosome pair close to the centromere. | |
