| Abstract:
Lightweight portable equipment has been designed to do localized drenches with liquid fertilizers or agrochemicals on flower crops. It is installed between a pressurized water source and an irrigation hose. It is based on a Mazzei® venturi injector which is installed on the bypass with the restriction valve in main line. For example an inlet pressure of 159 kilopascals (kPa) to the injector is enough to get a total irrigation flow of 65.5 liters per minute (L/min) and a liquid suction of 3.0 L/min. | |
