Quality dried figs are grown in the Menderes Plains, Aydin. Besides the specific temperatures and humidity, winds affect the quality of dried fig production. Quality dried fig production depends on winds from both the east and west. The building of dams and wells has been changing the ecological conditions and yields of dried figs are decreasing. | |
