This study was carried out in the Ordu plain (Turkey). It examined 6 different local fig cultivars viz. Ašgustos, Beyaz (Ak), Dešgirmen, Kara, Kus1 (Çamas1) and Pathcan. In these cultivars, fruit weight was determined between 11.35–58.00 g, fruit width between 3.10–5.25 cm, fruit length between 2.20–6.20 cm, pH between 4.2–5.3, total soluble solid contents between 16.6–20.0% and titratable acidity between 0.11–0.30%. The cultivars are mainly used for fresh consumption in Ordu.
